Hello there, internet!  I know, it’s been a while since I’ve posted.  I’ve been really busy pulling some projects together, teaching, coaching and now starting to read books for my new Professional Wellcoach certification on which I getting ready to embark.  I’ve got to fuel that somehow, eh?  After walking the pups this morning, I came back home and wanted something refreshing for a quick breakfast.  Apples sounded good.  So, I tossed one into my smoothie.  This absolute yumminess is what came out.  Try it – it’s so good!

  • 1/2 cup milk of your choice (I made this with soy this morning)
  • 1 apple, cored and roughly chopped (we had Ambrosia’s in the fridge)
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon of natural almond butter
  • 1 cup of plain, non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Ice, if you want

Pop all the ingredients in your handy dandy blender and let her rip.  Pour into a glass and enjoy the refreshing, balanced smoothie you just made.  Protein, fat and fiber/healthy carbs all in one glass.  Easy peasy.  Enjoy!
